Bruschetta Tomato Slices


BRUSCHETTA TOMATO SLICES
2 Beefsteak tomatoes, sliced
3-4 T fresh basil, chopped (to taste)
2 cloves garlic, minced
Mozzarella cheese, sliced into squares (as much or as little as you like)
Olive oil
Salt & pepper

Preheat the broiler.  Lay the tomato slices on a sheet pan.  Drizzle some olive oil over the tomatoes and season with salt and pepper.  Sprinkle the basil and garlic over the tomatoes.  Broil for about 5 minutes.  Lay the cheese over the tomatoes and broil another 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and browned.
