Garlic Parmesan Pasta

This truly really isn't much of a recipe, but my family raved on so much about it that I had to share it!

1 lb pasta, any shape
1/2 stick butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 C Italian parsley, chopped
Salt & pepper, to taste
3/4 C shredded Parmesan cheese
2 T olive oil

Cook the pasta according to directions.  Drain and return the pasta to the hot pot.  Stir in the remaining ingredients until cheese melts.

  1. Easy as can be and very tasty Thanks

  2. Hello Mrs. Wright. this is your delicious way of basically making pasta, con aglio, olio, peperoncino, e prezemolo. But I presume that you have young children who need the cholesterol to grow. Be we have stopped using butter and use only olive oil in Greece. I do however admit your edition is extreeeeeeeemly tasty. I love your blog because it is a family experience. Cheers and have a good day.

    1. Hello to you too! I never use margarine, so I buy only real butter to use instead. And I do use a lot of olive oil too. It just depends on what I'm cooking. And thank you so much for the compliments! I'm so glad that you enjoy my blog and my stories!

    2. Still after three years this recipe is the best, easiest and tastiest of all. cheers keep at it.

    1. Kylie, it's a pound of pasta, so I'd say around 6 servings, depending on your serving size. Enjoy!
